USBC’s 2026 State of the Association
Bowling isn’t fading away. It’s holding its ground—and in some places, it’s growing.
The USBC’s 2026 State of the Association makes that clear. League membership is staying steady, even after some rough years. Big events are strong, too. The USBC Open had its largest team turnout in more than 10 years, and the Women’s Championships keep passing 4,000 teams year after year. That doesn’t happen by accident.
There’s also a big push toward youth bowling, with more scholarships, new leagues, and larger Junior Gold events. Centers are being inspected with better tools, and rules are being updated to keep competition fair.
